"Canto Fúnebre De Las Muñecas" by Lucifer Vi’Matri

The Queen of Heaven weeps amidst the roar of genocidal silence.
Golden shackles mock Her grief,
chafing the bones beneath Her flesh.
Bloodless angels exsanguinate Her pleading children with a billion jabs from a pen.
Wordless spectators flood their collective conscience,
lifting their shovels so they might be spared the stench apathy has wrought.
There is no guilt where beggars cannot scream.
The cosmos quakes beneath shrieks of maternal rage as the world drowns in liquid fire.
An apocalyptic dirge for sacred dolls.

Lucifer Vi’Matri is the author of the transgressive post-apocalyptic urban fantasy novel, “Children of the Wasteland.” Her stories incorporate her love of femme-for-femme romance, grandiose anime battles, anti-villain protagonists, psychological horror, and trans rage. She lives in New York with her wives and a suspicious cat. Lucifer yearns for trans liberation, a sizable readership, and the time to consume every page of toxic yaoi and yuri the world has to offer.
